In T & T, Corpus Christi is usually associated with the traditional belief of planting a tree on this holiday. It is believed that anything planted on this blessed day will grow strong and healthy, and fruit trees are highly favoured at this time.

In recent times, many of us have become concerned with eating organically grown foods for obvious health reasons.  So if you have a green thumb and you’re looking for a new home project, as well as to exercise some control over the types of foods you use to nourish your body, today is your perfect day to start!

Please don't limit yourself to growing only food.  Why not beautify your surroundings with the various types of flora available at plant shops nationwide.  Explore your options of starting with seeds or seedlings/potted plants or a couple fruit trees, but be sure to plant something this Corpus Christi.
