Hurricane Safety Precautions

The 2017 Hurricane season started off with great ceremony as we all anxiously awaited the arrival of Tropical Storm Bret.  To our great fortune, we were not in Bret's direct pathway after all.

Nonetheless, there are many of our citizens who were indirectly affected by the storm mainly through damage to property, by way of high wind speeds and flooding. I urge you all to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Just in can you missed it, the Met Office (Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Services) has advised that they expect higher than normal hurricane activity to affect T & T this hurricane season.  In light of our recent Bret scare, are you really ready if we were to be in the direct path of a hurricane or tropical storm?

Here is a very quick and user friendly Emergency Kit Checklist that you can print and keep handy to aid you with being prepared. Simply check off the items that you have sufficiently stocked.
