Se Réunir Reloaded

So this post is dedicated to my darling bestie who dislikes the written word, unless it’s a recap of a sporting event. I do hope you all will enjoy the visuals provided and that they will help you to throw a great Se réunir (party).

I thought the other pointers for preparing your se réunir were pretty clear in my previous post however, I have opted to revisit two elements which are the party’s theme and food & beverage.

Your Theme

Your theme can be anything that you can imagine. As fancy or simple as you like. So lets begin by brainstorming your design and colours for your theme. Is there a theme that excites you? Tropical? Moroccan? Black Cat party theme? Here are a few ideas.

Also, look for ways to incorporate your theme in all aspects of the se réunir. In the invite, decor, food, drink and even music if possible.

Keep it simple if you’re on a budget.

Hang up photos of you and your friends.

Glow sticks inside balloons are all you need!

Incorporate fun interactive areas for guests.

Backgrounds for photo ops and games are a fun touch.

Ensure that none of your creative decorations pose any risk to your guests.

Refreshments

Again, remember that your food and drink can be aligned to your theme for e.g. in keeping with a Hawaiian theme you may want to serve Hawaiian Chicken kebabs and fruity refreshing drinks with umbrellas. Or you can just serve what you and your friends enjoy most.

Here are some food bar ideas.

                                                                    Hamburger Bar

If you think its fun, mostly like so will your guests.

Don't forget your wet bar. Very important! lol
